The following pictures explain how to determine in game deadhead miles. This is required if you are to be paid for deadheading. Currently trust has been granted, seeing as we are a real small company, trust is something that is expected. This isn't real money, there are no leader boards and no real reason to be dishonest, it will get found eventually.
You DO NOT get paid for undispatched miles, whether loaded or deadhead, This means if you are trying to get somewhere specifically such as back to Las Cruces for example to swap trailers. Then what you should do is find loads getting as close to Las Cruces as possible then if you cant find another load going to Las Cruces, then you drive the rest of the way empty on your dime, meaning you don't get paid for that and you cannot submit those as deadhead miles.
These deadhead miles is the shortest route the in game GPS sets from your current location of unloading to the entrance of the next company to get loaded. You are to submit those miles as deadhead paid miles, not where you think is shorter, or where you feel is shortest, or if you have to go 500 miles out of route to a shop.... its from your location of last unload to the front door of the next company!
When you submit your deadhead miles on your dashboard use this format so we can see where you originated from and ended at - deadhead xxxx to xxxx.
xxxx = the name of the city you started at and then ended at.
